Your clients expect a spa-like space at home, whether in the primary suite, a master bathroom or a wellness room. Sunlighten's sauna interior design follows the home's design language, from the wood and lighting to the materials around it.

  • Primary suites, wellness rooms and amenity spaces
  • Integrated lighting, cove details and specialty walls
  • Basswood or Eucalyptus interiors

A signature feature, built to belong

Custom built-in Sunlighten infrared sauna with glass doors and a Himalayan salt wall

Helm Custom Homes: the Galloway House

Residential · Luxury custom home

For an 11,000-square-foot desert-inspired home in the Midwest, Helm Custom Homes wanted a sauna that matched the architecture, not a unit dropped into a finished room. Sunlighten designed a custom infrared sauna for the primary suite, beside the steam shower.

  • ~70 sq ft: custom sauna seating two
  • 3D: renderings before the build
  • Hands-free: install for the builder

Backlit Himalayan salt blocks form the feature wall, with accent lighting under the benches, a hidden cove detail and landscape rock that ties the sauna to the exterior. Helm chose Sunlighten’s installation service. Our team handled the woodworking, lighting and specialty finishes.

The installation process was terrific. Sunlighten's team came out and they were absolute experts. They made it completely hands-free for me as a builder.

A one-page answer for your client

Builders often default to a traditional sauna because it's familiar. Here's how an infrared built-in compares.
